MLB 2K10 Demo Coming To PSN March 4th: 9 Minute Gameplay Trailer Inside

2K Sports today announced that a free demo of Major League Baseball 2K10 will be available on Thursday, March 4 for PS3 through the PlayStation Network. The demo will offer fans an opportunity to relive the excitement of the 2009 World Series and play a 3-inning game as either the Philadelphia Phillies or New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

The demo also gives gamers a chance to perfect their pitching for a chance to win $1,000,000. This year, 2K Sports will give away this unprecedented cash prize to the first person who throws a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K10. This special contest, sponsored by 2K Sports, is available for PS3 system through the PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 through Xbox LIVE.

In addition, Major League Baseball 2K10 celebrates baseball’s core battle: pitchers vs. hitters. Improved pitching mechanics and right-stick swing controls let you pound the strike zone and rake like a pro, along with a totally revamped fielding system, hundreds of new signature animations and a star player rating system that brings the action to life like never before.
