Microsoft has released their 3rd Qtr financial sales results ending March 2010 and the numbers are more than impressive.
With the 2005 launch of the Xbox 360, Microsoft has now sold more than 40 million Xbox 360 console to date as the company has confirmed and the revenue just continues to increase. Microsoft’s Xbox division has reported an increase of $1.67 billion in revenue, a 2% increase compared to the same quarter the prior year.
The software giant hopes to increase sales momentum this holiday when it ships Project Natal, the motion camera add-on for Xbox 360. Heavy rumors suggest Microsoft may soon be introducing a new slim model of the console, possibly even revealing it at this year’s E3 event in June.
