Sam Fisher’s latest adventure, Splinter Cell: Conviction has had a successful outing as an Xbox 360 exclusive. Sells numbers from VGChartz are estimating that the game has managed to outsell it’s predecessor – Splinter Cell: Double Agent with over 500,000 copies sold in just the first week of release. Very impressive indeed.
As Playstrum points out, Ubisoft’s latest head turner has met almost the same exact numbers as Sony’s latest psychological thriller, Heavy Rain. With both title selling an estimate 526,000 copies their opening weekend.
Fans of the series have been hoping to see Conviction grace the PS3, however Splinter Cell: Conviction is currently available only on Xbox 360 with a PC launch next week.
