After days of heart wrenching trigger-pulling, in an intense and well organized Black Ops E3 Tournament Challenge, four elite FPS operatives have now been awarded as Finalist.

Play N Trade, the fastest-growing video game retail franchise worldwide recently held a Black Ops tournament for the ages. Comprised of multiple Play N Trade locations throughout the US, gamers came from far and wide to test their Black Ops skills against the nations best for the ultimate prize, a chance to take their skills center stage at the biggest video game event of the year, E3. A chance to play at E3 and win big money prizes certainly sounded like a smoking deal for one of the finalist, Gavin Main out of Franklinton, LA, “I am extremely excited about going to E3 2011. It is a great opportunity that many people will likely never get”.

After all the smoke cleared, there were only four standing. The four Finalist will not only square-off on stage at E3, the competitors will compete for prize packages worth a total of $7,500 .

After the finalist finally settled down from all the excitement, we got a chance to speak with them and ask them a few question about the tournament, their love for gaming, the excitement of going to E3, and what their chances are of winning at the Big Show.

Responses From The Finalists:

When asked about the excitement of actually going to E3 2011, Gavin Main stated,
“I am extremely excited about going to E3 2011. It is a great opportunity that many people will likely never get; not just going to play in the finals of this tournament, but to be able to go and see what the whole gaming community is going to have in store for them over the next year. It was and still is an amazing feeling, knowing that I was one of four selected for this.”

When asked how Play N Trade conducted the tournament,

“They did a great job making this a fair tournament with the maps they chose, game play settings and only using around five guys in each match. I can honestly say this was a very intense tournament for me and anyone could see that by looking at my recent games. I would have to describe Play N Trade’s tournaments as ‘Clean and Crisp’.”

Catching up with finalist John Monsalve - Alpharetta, GA, we wanted his take on the one thing about E3 he was most excited about, in addition to getting his opinion on how well he would fair in the tournament at E3,

“I am excited about playing the three other individuals. If they made it to the finals they have to be three outstanding players. I’m just looking forward to playing them.”

“I’m pretty confident that the finals won’t be easy. Do I think I will reign supreme though, absolutely! I’m also looking forward in putting on a show at the event. Black Ops is a very exciting game to watch and the game play should be a thrill for the audience.” John we love your confidence, it will be needed.

Like John, Javier Monarrez out of Burbank, IL was certainly confident of his chances at winning and was quite the loyal fan of Play N Trade in general. Straight and to the point, Javier stated,

“I’m positive I will win.” and concerning Play N Trade, “The play before you try is awesome but my most favorite thing about Play N Trade is the disk cleanings.”

Last and certainly not least Wesley Newman, the fourth finalist out of Brooksville, FL had much to say about the whole experience,

“I am pumped to go, this is one of those things that has never happen to me, plus I’ve never been to cali.”

On his love for gaming,

“What I love about gaming is actually just getting online with my other teammates that I have been playing with for 7 years and just basically hanging out and tearing some kids up as a team.”

On the one thing he is most excited about at E3,

“I am excited about the new experiences and seeing all the new and upcoming products of the year and hopefully meet a lot of cool people from the industry. Plus CALI!” I get the felling Wesley really wants to go to California.
