Listing a host of impressive upcoming titles to grace your Xbox 360 with KINECT capabilities, Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer in an E3 interview with Gamespot dropped the bomb that the upcoming Halo Anniversary HD re-boot will in fact be KINECT integrated.
“Core focus for us in our press briefing this year with Kinect actually came from two sides.”
“As a first-party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.
“The interesting thing with the amount of original content that creators came to the show with – things like what Mass Effect did, Ghost Recon – we didn’t know that was going to be on our stage when we started our E3 planning.”
Other than making it known that Halo anniversary will be KINECT integrated, no more nuggets were spilled unfortunately. We’ll try to have more on how KINECT blends you the controller into the Halo universe as the release date draws closer.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary releases later this year, November 15, exclusively for Xbox 360. But you already knew that.
