During the Digital Days event, Ubisoft announced two new titles as part of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, an adaptation of the acclaimed PS Vita success will now be coming to consoles and PC, and Assassin’s Creed Pirates, a mobile game dedicated to the naval combats introduced by Assassin’s Creed III.
Starring Aveline, the first playable female assassin of the series, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD features unique assassin gameplay mechanics, an immersive Assassin’s Creed storyline, and detailed HD visuals. Developed by Ubisoft Sofia, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is the striking chapter of the pre-American Revolution Assassin’s Creed saga, arriving for the first time as a digital title for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates is a standalone game for smartphones and tablets that will allow players to further explore the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy as Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious captain. Players will have to manage their crew, upgrade their ship, recruit new crew member and engage in huge real-time naval battles to become the most feared pirate of their time and claim La Buse’s legendary treasure. As in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the Caribbean seas will become their hunting grounds.
