SEGA has stepped up to the plate and has acquired the down on their luck publisher Index Corporation, who as many of you know are the owners of the popular developer ATLUS. Upon this new acquisition SEGA believes the developers celebrated software would mean a more steady financial gain, “gain access to prominent IPs” and “can expect to achieve steady flows of revenue.”

It has been reported by Bloomberg, this new deal could be valued at ¥14 billion (approximately £88 million/$141 million)

ATLUS is most widely known for their Shin Megami Tensei Persona series.
