It looks like Quantic Dream could be in the process of remastering Beyond Two Souls for the PS4 according to French website Gameblog.
A while back rumors were swirling around the net about the potential arrival of The Last of Us, Journey as well as the Metro series coming over to the PS4 and at the moment The Last of Us Remastered is topping the PS4 sales charts, Journey has been confirmed for the PS4 and just this week we saw the launch of Metro Redux (2033 and Last Light) now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
While this news has not yet been confirmed by Sony, we are beginning to see a pattern here. One that shows Sony bringing their acclaimed exclusives from the PS3 over to the PS4, due in part to the fact that many of the current PS4 users were not PS3 users who never experienced some of the incredible exclusives the PS3 greatly benefited from.
It should be noted that the PS4 is currently experiencing an extremely high user to PS4 software attachment rate. SN points out that Beyond Two Souls for the PS4 will not be taglined with ‘Remastered’ but with ‘Director’s Cut’, hopefully implying additional gameplay features and setpieces to the campaign and narrative.
