Rainbow Six: Siege has been delayed, but thankfully the game is still launching this year, just closer to Christmas on December 1st.
According to Ubisoft, the game needs more tweaking based on internal tests and feedback. Ubisoft has stated; “We felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation,”
“We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”
Player will potential have a chance to jump into the games closed beta on September 24th, giving the dev team hopefully adequate time to iron out any wrinkles hiding within the matchmaking experience.
Though the delay is almost a two month wait, we’ve all had spoiled experiences with broken games after dropping our hard earned $60 bones. So this delay could be a blessing.
