British actress Victoria Atkin stars as Evie Frye, the first female assassin of the Assassin’s Creed franchise’s newest release Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Atkin spent almost half a year doing both motion capture and voice over for the role.
In addition to the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate release, October 23rd also marks the 20th anniversary of the classic British TV Series, Hollyoaks, in which Atkins got her start. She received accolades for her portrayal of transgender teen Jasmine/Jason Costello, the first fictional transgender adolescent on British television. For the role, she met with Prime Minister David Cameron and Channel 4 executives to sign a memorandum of understanding to accurately portray transgender people in the media.
Atkin landed the role only six months after graduating from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. (Alumni include Sir Laurence Olivier, Vanessa Redgrave, and Natasha Richardson.) Atkin’s other acting credits include a recurring role in the cable series The Girl’s Guide to Depravity. Her upcoming projects include the film The Downside of Bliss and most recently, her first novel London Love was published.
For more on the game itself, according to the official Xbox store Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will take up a little over 40GB of storage space on your Xbox One. Of course this shouldn’t come as a surprise as Assassin’s Creed Unity also clocked in at the same storage size.
In addition, if you’re in desperate need of more storage space, the Xbox One is compatible with many external drives which you can hook up with a simple usb connection.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate launches October 23rd for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
