Call of Duty Black Ops fans might be hyped to learn that the upcoming Call of Duty will be Call of Duty Black Ops 4, arriving this holiday for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Of course, the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X adopters should expect a visually enhanced and overall better experience, if this update holds up. At the moment, Activision has yet to confirm or deny the rumored update.
Sellars an industry insider via Twitter stated that BO3 will be returning back a ‘boots on the gound’ affair, so no more dynamic jetpacking across the maps, apparently.
COD 2018 is Black Ops 4 and is coming to PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch. It is set in the modern times and is boots on the ground. The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls. The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familar with COD games.

After playing the impressive COD WWII, this writer is happy with the choice of returning Black Ops back to the ‘boots on the ground’ approach, if in fact true. Though the dynamic traversal approach certainly had its stellar moments, I will not be complaining discovering that my accurate aim will once again land me that well deserved kill shot.
