Hey guys. I just got back from my first time at PlayNTrade. My first impression was a fairly good one. The company however is struggling quite badly. From what he told me is that they pay to use the PlayNTrade name but do not get the backing from corporate so they are more or less an independent company. The people there seemed really nice and helped me with everything I needed. We actually talked for almost an hour because it was slow. We talked about lots of things from the new Game-Insider partnership to the ups and downs they are currently experiencing. I think their biggest issue right now is the inability to advertise. The owner simply doesn't have the money to put up for local advertising and since they don't have the corporate backing, I assume they don't get any advertisement that way either. I bought a couple games while I was there since I don't want to see them go under. They are the only PlayNTrade in the area. Here is there info. 5216 North Broadway Knoxville, Tennessee 37918 Phone: 865-357-8989 I hope to see them pull through. I will definitely make future purchases there in an effort to help them.  Smiley

@ Intimidator68

Way to support your local PlayNTrade! That's awesome! I thoroughly enjoy my stay at PNT every time I visit. They probably get tired of me always asking to play the latest releases before I buy them, but they always have a smile on their face, great people indeed. Intimidator68 PNT corporate does have some rather interesting angles in place to help with continued support of all their US PNT locations after E3.

However, this is retail, so it's never going to be easy and advertising is certainly a major ingredient if a store is going to survive. Our hopes and endeavors as a gaming network in addition to our unlimited responsibility to our readers will be to assist each PNT location in not only keeping their doors open but in helping these passionate owners see a solid return on their investment. Keep supporting your local PNT!
