Sony’s PS4 has reached the 2 million consoles sold milestone in its native country of Japan. With the October 1st PS4 price cut Sony’s latest gaming flagship has continued its market leader charge according to today’s Media Create sales figures. Looking at the approximate figures in Japan, the PS4 has sold through 2,005,949 consoles.
The top five software titles which have had the luxury of taking advantage of the PS4 sales momentum in Japan as of late has been Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Need For Speed, Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force and God Eater Resurrection.
With heavy hitters like Star Ocean V, The Last Guardian, Uncharted 4, Kingdom Hearts II.8 and III, Final Fantasy XV, Dreams, Horizon: Zero Dawn, in addition to the likes of Valkyria Chronicles, Dead or Alive Extreme 3, Setsuna, Dissidia Final Fantasy, World of Final Fantasy, and lets go ahead and throw in the upcoming 2016 Playstation VR experience for good measure, and we believe there will be plenty of reasons for the PS4 to continue it charge in Japan.
