One of the most terrifying interactive journeys of 2015 is heading to the PS4 on March 8, 2016. Noting that the date of this announcement is not accidental, today actually marks exactly 57 years since the infamous Dyatlov Pass Incident, which served as the main inspiration during the creation of Kholat.
It was the event that took the lives of 9 Russian students, hiking the Ural Mountains, on the night of February 2, 1959. The real cause of this tragedy is still unknown, with many hypothesis arising during the years. For this occasion IMGN.PRO have prepared a special interactive map, showing the course of events of this fatal trip – http://thepass.kholat.com
Narrated by Sean Bean, Kholat is an exploration adventure game with elements of horror inspired by the event known as Dyatlov Pass Incident. The player will plunge directly into the boundless scenery of the inhospitable Ural Mountains with the task to find out what really happened.
Beginning today Kholat gets a 57% discount for the 57th anniversary on Steam.
