As Twisted Voxel points out, while it is unclear as to why both studio members left, it is quite common for key creative members to experience burnout after the sometimes insane working demands of triple A titles like Days Gone.
Days Gone was developed by Sony Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game launched exclusively for the PS4 in 2019 and also playable on PS5 with enhanced features such as higher resolution and 60 fps gameplay.
